Duality is a figment of our imagination. There cannot be good without evil, up without down, so you cannot feel happier, hungrier, wealthier without the opposite existing in your mind.

The illusion of this significant difference only arises in moments of contrast.
I was happy yesterday, but today I feel sad. I only know I feel sad because I was happy.
As the Zenrin Kushu says;
To receive trouble is to receive good fortune;
To receive agreement is to receive opposition.
In reality sadness and happiness do not exist, they are concepts we have labelled and thus identify with. Therefore, to pursue goodness is to create badness, as one cannot exist without the other. The more one strives for good, the wider the chasm between good and bad appears and the bad is given as much life as the good.

To let go of good and bad, of any duality, is a liberation. Life is not a situation from which there is anything to be grasped or gained. It is not something outside of us. We are life and it is us – life is not some external thing thrust upon us. To exist and be present in this very moment, without any duality – that is life.
Its good to try to figure out what whatever is. In my experience, the head alone never gets us to the highest vibrations. There is no need to know. We are love and light and life and as soon as we just relax truly we can slip into the happiness that we are made of. That is my experience. I wonder what yours is.

There is much truth in your words. The intellect often seems to hinder rather than help, creates more questions than answers. Similar to you, the experience of letting go brings more happiness.
Thank you for your inspiring comment.
