If someone were to offer you more money than you’ve ever had in your whole life, would you turn away? Would you reject the gift in front of your eyes, even though no strings were attached?
The majority of people would see the money as a gift, something positive that will improve their lives.
How many people view our very existence and the world around us as such a gift?
Our society is materialistically driven, we buy, consume, want more – we’re always looking ahead and at what others have. We are judged by what we ‘own’ and our status in society, but what do the trees care of our status? What do the clouds care what we look like? Does the earth care whether rich or poor hands turn its soil?
These things are as eternal as they are constantly changing, and every second, every now they can make you richer in soul than any possession.
Just taking the time to look inside yourself is more valuable than the latest gadget. You contain the whole universe within you.

We each have something to contribute to life – be it an invention or a cure, and idea or a smile – whether there is someone else to witness and benefit from it, or not.
We are the only judge of our lives we should take notice of and if we are peaceful in ourselves, we contribute to the peace of the world.
Whatever you give will be given back to you. If you meet anger with anger, anger is all there will be.
If you live with love…
It’s easy to live with love. If we take time to notice the little things in life, appreciate the beauty and intricacy, the slant of sunlight cutting through the window, reminding us of the reality of life, then we will feel peace.
Boxed and cemented in as we are, the beauty of life is pushed to the back of our minds, trivial in the face of everyday ‘reality’, viewed as a hobby or an extra, like art or music – but not necessary.
Love often has the same distinction.
In reality the material things matter not. It is what’s in our hearts that counts.
Do not abdicate from life, do not waive the gift.
Look for the balance and not the then. Live in the now and feel love again.
