We are complex creatures. We think, we analyse, we feel emotions at in-depth levels and we can abuse our ‘intelligence’ all too easily through mis-use.
We only have to look at the use of the media, and advertising in particular, to see how manipulative humans can be – and at times it is very blatant, but at others it is so subtle that it is almost non-discernible.
Life, conditioning, expectation, experience – these all have a part to play in how we express ourselves and how we feel inside – it is nigh on impossible not to be affected to at least some degree by these.

But we are not born this way. Take a new born baby, or a small child. They love us. They love us even if we have three fingers and a deep scar across our face. They love us if we are poor, or selfish, hurtful or distant. They take us 100% for who we are and they love us. It doesn’t matter to them what colour our skin is or what clothes we are wearing or language we’re speaking – they have none of the bias and conditioning we grow into as adults. And they are happy, at peace.
We make ourselves complex creatures but really life is very simple and if everyone practices right thought, right action, that is pure thought, without bias and conditioning, then we would have peace.
